Job Description:
As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring premises through patrols or surveillance systems
- Able to comply with formal operating policies and procedures that mandate certain customer service, Enforcing access control and responding to emergency response procedures.
- Writing detailed incident reports
- Collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary
Requirements :
- Must be responsible, dependable and punctual
- Must have strong work ethics, is observant and detail oriented
- Previous experience working in a shelter, human services, or similar high-risk environment
- Must be comfortable working overnight and independently
- Professional communication skills and strong situational awareness
- Reliable transportation
- Conflict de-escalation
- Crisis response and behavioral observation
- Effective verbal and written reporting
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
